Location: the hotel was next to the city centre, the lake and town and Mexico. They gave us a comfy room with climate control, a flat-screen TV, and an iron. We loved exceptionally comfortable beds.

It had great location, next to the central square as well as the city centre. The room was exceptionally nice and incredibly comfortable and what's more - included a shower and hairdryers:)))

A superb location close to the center. The garden with a swimming pool created a relaxing atmosphere. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, even providing plates for breakfast in the garden. Although our double room had necessary amenities, it felt quite basic and lacked a kettle for preparing hot drinks. We encountered some noise early in the morning from traffic and near the reception area, which could be bothersome for light sleepers. The bicycles available for use were in rough condition, and the bathroom did have an unpleasant smell. The free laundry service and working air-conditioning were nice touches. The stay felt peaceful overall, despite a few areas that could use attention.

During my stay as part of a family getaway, I enjoyed the lovely garden and pool area, which provided a beautiful backdrop for relaxation. The room was quite basic with necessary essentials, but the community fridge and complimentary laundry service were a pleasant surprise. It was only a short walk to the square, particularly the Balneario Municipal.

The pool area was really nice, but the shower didn't have hot water on the second day.

The outdoor space feels inviting. Unique double rooms come with two double beds, giving plenty of space for families.
Room noise levels near the reception can be bothersome, especially for those seeking peace. Basic amenities like a kettle were missing, requiring a request to have hot water for coffee in the morning. Limited bedding provided only a thin sheet left me wanting for more comfort.

Cozy family vibes
This little gem had a super chill pool area that was great for lounging. The outdoor dining setup was perfect for breakfast under the sun, and the staff treated us like family-so nice! Only thing was the bathroom could've used a deep clean. Still, our stay felt really safe with secure parking.

The owner, Rodrigo, was cute and offered valuable local tips. The pool area was a good oasis, perfect for relaxation under the shade. I appreciated the community fridge that allowed us to keep our drinks cool for day trips.
Some neighborhood noise at night.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Henry in Bacalar! The owner, Raphael, was cute and went out of his way to make us feel at home. The courtyard garden with the beautiful pool was a lovely place to relax in the afternoon. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the central square and the fine lagoon. The room was comfortable, with a fan and air conditioning to keep us cool. And the added bonus of having Netflix in our room was a great way to wind down in the evenings. Despite a few minor inconveniences like a noisy room and occasional water and power cuts, we overall had a wonderful experience. Hotel Henry Bacalar is definitely a place we would recommend!
